Question about the retail price raise of UHR watches sent...

By the way... to fellow brudders who're still having interest with UHR's products...

I've sent an email to UHR this morning regard the price raising matter... got an answer about 2hrs ago...

It's quite... erm...

I wouldn't want to spoil the mood of CNY 1st day... so i guess i'll give u an update tomorrow/after 12 tonight.

This is part of the email that i sent,

By the way, I've noticed that close to 3 quarter of your chronographs in

your public retail section are now mostly priced @ 599euro. Is it signifying

that the stocks are running low and entering into phase out stage? There are

some interest generated from some collectors from the respective forums, who are

looking forward to get a UHR chrono as a start in their collection

hobby...but were quite put off by the sudden rise of the recent price

increase...

Answer about the retail price raise of UHR watches sent...

Ok... as promised... now after 12.

The answer from UHR.INFO in regard to their price increase.

"Yes, we had to rise some prices of our 7750 chronos. One of the primary

reasons for this is the dramatic development of the Swiss Franc -> Euro

exchange rate during the last couple of years. Most of the 7750

movements were from 2010 and thus bought at a different exchange rate.

The watches are still being produced but we have to pay higher prices

for the movements and other parts now.

I believe we are still perfoming _very_ good for Valjoux Chronos priced

at 599. ..."

Since it was just dispatched last Thursday, which i guess is local time Thursday evening about 8pm local time, most likely your package might touchdown in SG on tomolo morning or thursday morning. Then it take roughly about 2 days for speedpost to sort your package, or maybe lesser. So if all goes smooth, you could get yours this Saturday morning, or perhaps Monday lo...

Tp verify whether your package had touchdown, from the DHL.de tracking result page, copy the package code "CLxxxxxxxxDE", then paste to the speedpost tracking page to get the result.

It was mentioned in their FAQ section.

"5. How long will the delivery take?

The watch will be sent to you the same day after receipt of your payment by 3pm. As a rule the watch should arrive within 48 hours for deliveries within Germany. ..."

The DHL service only handles the package from dispatch till boarding plane. Local land delivery not covered, that's why you wont be able to track the shipment in local DHL website.

By the way, which model you hooted?

Here's how...

1. I guess you're directed to DHL.de from the confirmation email right?

2. Go to http://www.dhl.de/en.html"CxxxxxxxxxxDE", then proceed to http://www.speedpost.com.sg" false; , go to track and trace section, paste then search. You should be able to see your result.

I think they just changed the tracking details. I only got the last known place the package is at (ie germany).

Will email them soon if I dont get it by tomorrow or friday =(

Just a little info for all who may be interested UHR's complex mechanicals products.

As previously mentioned UHR in initially planned to release a 7751 moonphase chrono last year, but did not come into reality.

Well in my email to UHR, i just slightly mentioned about this previously failed project. Received an answer from them... below are the extract of some part of the email...

Right now in their catalogue, only 499eu chronos are left in stock, are both 7750 sterile dial chrono, and 7753 48mm chrono. I wouldn't be surprise that the balance stock could get snapped up in short time, as BASEL2012 is not only a exhibition event, but also a trading ground.

If your payment gets processed last evening, most likely your order was dispatched hours later last night.

From previous experience, i foresee that your package might be delivered to your place on Thursday, +/- one day... this will be very inconvenient especially when they make the deliveries during the morning from 1030hrs to 1230hrs

Not so easy... especially when you need that specific tracking code(not the one that's given to you from UHR email) to appear in speedpost system first... which will be the day when the package is sent to the local processing center. By the time it appears, will be very early liaos, like 4am or 8am like that. Then the next thing will be issue to your area dispatch, who will be delivering the package to you from 1030hrs to 1230hrs.

So, in order to make the reschedule, you'll need first, to receive a "missed delivery" notice which the postman will either slot in your door, when nobody's in during day time working hours. When you get that receipt, you will not be able to make reschedule bookings, until next day 0900hrs. When you're able to make another reschedule, the delivery date will be most likely following week liaoz.

Hopefully your package gets delivered to your place on wednesday... so that you can make reschedule on thursday 0900hrs for saturday morning deliveries.

if u missed it, and get the delivery note, can rescedule for any working day.

i think mon-fri night also has..... no need wait for sat.

however once 1st delivery missed, has to wait half-1 day b4 the items goes back to singpost base, then they can re-sort out according to ur request.
