help!! flying to vietnam tmr with no plan in 12 hours

flying to ho chi minh holiday with co 6 day 5 nights



so far only air ticket and hotel settled





any vietnam regulars here? quick tell me where to go , what to eat ? :( :( :( :(

Assume you and your co never been there....



3 must go places.... ben thanh market, the war museums and the famous cu chi tunnel.... the rest all dun bother.... :lol: :lol:



Ben thanh market is first in the list simply because you can shop and eat at the same time..... the market is probably enough for you to shop for 2/3 days liaoz or eat for 2/3 days..... surround the market or nearby.... you can still shop or eat too.... If you go further away to some ulu areas still surround the market.... if lucky can spot a few rundown stalls selling vintage watches and even army knifes.... but must be aware of fakes!



The war museums, you need to book a cab or get one provide by the hotel if any spread them out in a museum/day so you won't get bored.



As for the cu chi tunnel, I suggest you go by saigon express boat.



Frankly, 6 days 5 nite is a little too long...... other empty day.... go spa lor.... :lol: :lol: Or go to their central post ofice to snap pictures and opposite the post office is a church which many local newly webs always go for weeding picture....

Before I forget... one must try local snack is the paper rice snack.... very yummy one! But taste differ between sellers which can be found on the roadside towards the market.



Other try all lor... fried scorpion good for you and co.... :lol: :lol:

nv go there before but Nam is famous for kopi.



my friend went there to hunt for for french food after reading a book by Anthony Boudain. dont think the michelin starred french restaurants are that ex.

Other than sex, my fren who regular travels around asia for work, has always managed to get number for transportation, hotels, tourist agent over there from the ppl there...... under the respective threads, he told me....

If ya going china, need such svc other than lup sap wan...., he told me, usually someone would have went b4 to each city and posted, pm them lo.....
