I'm a sucker for black watches, even though I don't own one yet... But the new steinhart nav b chrono ii looks very nice to be my first (AFTER my grail hoot).

But how's DLC coating as compared to PVD ? It's suppose to be more durable right ?

The pictures first appeared in Steinhart's FACEBOOK page. I oredi seen it 2 wks back and immediately falls for it. Then when the price comes out @ 690euro(excludes VAT) few days ago... i put this model into my wish list.



@ current stage, GNOMON @ Beach road have not received the supplies yet, hence this model is not listed in their website in this period of time. So if you want to get this... will have to order from Germany straight. I guess, @ the current x-change rate of 1.75SGD to 1EURO, with shipping charges and post GST charges, this may eventually hit close to SGD1400 mark.

My figure is about 20SGD(@ 1.75) close to yours, but slightly higher. Here's how i calculated...

(690euro+30euro) X 1.77(slightly higher x-change rate thru paypal) X 1.07(GST)... so agak agak 1.4k :o :o :o

Once you see the price of O&W 3066 Valjoux7750 auto chrono and higher WaterResistence listed @ Gnomon site...i don't know how will you be struggling to choose...



I'm now really in a dilemma, lower price for a bracelet+100m WR w/o DAY auto chrono, or higher price for better lume decoration+low WR+leather strap+bigger case...

Hmm just realised alot of the Steinhart models come with mock patina to give them a "vintage" look.

Thanks. HFTL two vintage NOS g-shocks, and got a GMT2C for my wife. I had a Vostok waiting for me at home :lol:
