Mai lar.... super nice dial! Under bright light it is electric blue, in dim light it is blackish, the watch is big but titanium brings the weight down nicely.... how to sell, right??? :lol: :lol: :lol:

I once have four Samurai's but sold the ss version because I didn't like the case with crown guard. Now, I am left with the black, blue and orange Ti models.





You mean w/o crown guard, no? I'm the same, never warmed up to the SS and didn't even bother trying it on... Still ok, sold for roughly what I paid (even SS now crazy pricing). The overall design of the Ti works so much better!

yeah... and esp when its near mint or NOS... :twisted:

I rather the sammy prices be slightly higher but stay constant than random sellers testing the market with such high prices,this aint healthy to new collectors that they might get wrong values... and used by other sellers as a sales thread example for current market value...(though most dont do that)

a lot of people 'complained' about the watch being too 'light' for it size since its Ti, but i think it add that element of surprise when you pick it up and wear it.

there are enough big heavy (& some ugly) watches out there, so we dont need another one.

everything is quite unique for this watch - case, chapter ring, hands(?), dial, bezel & insert.



its really a shame Seiko discon this so early.

i ever spoke to the boss of Big Time. He also had a black ti and i ask if he wana sell it but he rejected me nicely.



We were discussing about this piece and one of the reason is, the so called replacement for this piece is a 6r15 powered ti diver. He ownself also tell me no point buying that one. The brand new price is 1285USd on Seiya but the ti sammy is sold for half the price brand new. This is prolly one of the reason why it drove the pricing up so much.

Ti? $700+ easy in decent condition, more if better. I don't agree with it, but that's how the market's pricing them. The Ti's are just so perfect, awesome shape, great weight. Wish it had a 6R15 variant - KO the Sumo completely -, but oh well. Course, price on something like that would be insane, basically at the Shogun level. :twisted:



SS? Well.... crazy people seem to buy them high, but ~$450 looks decent. Anything over 550-600 is going crazy, for a SS watch with a 7S26 movement.... and not as good looking as the Ti's :P



Question, though: you changed the crystal, was it pressure tested after? Dunno if that'd hurt or help....
