The hour and min hands look like the same one used on alba manta ray diver. The second hand very nice too! The shape look like u1 second hand but yours the square part is hollow.

I went out this afternoon with drinking liang teh in mind but found myself in CSC flea market soon after. So decided to take a quick stroll around at usual stalls without any watches in mind to hoot...just leisurely scanning around. Started with level 1 with nothing interesting then level 2. Spotted usual frankens,watches with issues or watches that will make yourself a roberto for a day if you buy them. :lol:



Then decided to proceed to the back area(selling comics/action figures) around the tanning salon and escalator. Three briefcases of watches caught my eye and that was the stall of friendly Mr.Yeo,whom I bought a Seiko 5 for FF modding for SC bro. His watches,as some of you may know,are generally in excellent or mint condition,many even are presented with tags,bracelet plastic sleeves,labels etc.



One briefcase was full of Seiko and Seiko 5(dress,divers,kinetic divers) and the rest were Albas,Timex,Casio and other swiss brands. The hot favourites are of course the Seikos,begin good in condition,mint with tags and pricing. Thinking back,he must have sold quite a few of them even before I reached his stall. :cry:



I took noticed of 2 watches,the SRP029K with full black TiCN coating and another Alba with 10bar rating(7S26). I was planning to do a package deal for both but then the SRP029K has been reserved minutes earlier. If I can get both of them as a package,it might be at good price.Moreover,both watches are mint ,right to tags/labels and bracelet in protective sleeves.



So in the end,I bought the (look new with tags/labels/sticker at backcase) Alba 10bar watch. It has the simpler dial design with a 7s26 movement(not screw in crown). I like the orange colour of the 'automatic' word and second sweeping hand. The second sweep hand is unique! Only if Alba made this a 200m watch and with screw in crown,then it be much much better.













I took pics of 2 briefcases-less the Seiko box as it has been closed and Mr Yeo was packing up by then. Lousy pics due to lighting condtions.











Mr Yeo will be back next Sunday with same 3 briefcases but perhaps he will add more nice Seiko for sale. There are few large Seiko Kinetic divers but too bad I am noob to kinetic and not sure of model number else can sic.

oh I've intro him and his son to Seiko Club,perhaps he will turn member soon :P
