'Last watch' & 'never flip' syndrome
Or have you said 'okay last watch, gotta be faithful'.
To be frank I've never thought of any watch as the last, but have sillily thought some watches which I've owned previously are so value-for-$$ that I'll never flip. Sinn u1, omega aqua terra, seiko sumo, explorer (1)... All are great value for what I paid, but preferences do change, and interests die. In the process I've lost quite some $$ cause some are brought from dealers.
The is only one watch which I dare say I'm keeping, but that's cause it's a gift from my mother...
What's your story? Any definite keepers?
