for a while i thought that you're referring to the calibre 1887 used in TAG HEUER auto chrono that's of SEIKO origin...by looking at the title of your thread

yah, visited an old watch shop I that I haven't been to in a long time, saw these, wanted to support the uncle a bit, so bought all (less the white dial). Bencoolen have these yet?

btw these are roughly the size of a rolex sub, thinner, lighter, and styled like luminox. The resin is rubbery, straps are surprisingly supple, and the whole watch feels very ruggedised.

saw a few nice old models there, as well as a 2 tone, 3 eye ana-digi citizen Promaster
